Bratz Dolls - for a 7 year old?

My daughter will be celebrating her birthday soon. Well, she loves dolls so much, so i'm going to buy her a doll. But i'm having trouble finding a doll which is appropriate for a 7 year old. I recently went to a toy store and was appauled at the kind of dolls i saw.
Some kind of dolls called bratz, which was wearing a miniskirt, stiletto high heels and just a just some sort of bra. What amazed me was the number of girls lined up the aisle just to get one. As for getting Be-Bratz dolls - where can I find the dolls? I've searched walmart.com and toysrus.com but no luck. Is it at a website where you can dress up bratz dolls on line? Basically, yes. I heard that target.com and amazon.com have them - i got mine yesterday but cant seem to get it to work. Good luck - they are going to be hard to get.
